Scout & Guide:

        The Scouts & Guides is a voluntary, non-political, educational movement for young people, open to all without distinction of origin, race or creed, in accordance with the purpose, principles and method conceived by the Founder Lord Baden Powell in 1907.

Purpose:

        The purpose of the Movement is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of the local, national and international communities.

The Scout/Guide Movement is based on the following Principles:

      (I)     Duty to God: Adherence to spiritual principles, loyalty to the religion that expresses them and acceptance of the duties resulting there from.

     (ii)     Duty to others: - Loyalty to one's country in harmony with the promotion of local, national and international peace, understanding, cooperation.

                - Participation in the development of society with recognition and respect for the dignity of one's fellowmen and for the integrity of the natural world.

    (iii)     Duty to self: - Responsibility for the development of oneself.

Tatachem DAV Public school believes in holistic development of children and provides equal opportunities to all age groups to flourish and presently running four wings scouts, guides, cubs & bulbul, under the leadership of Mr. Taraknath Bera, Ms. Bonita Hadiyal and Ms. Shamin Mandor.

Till 2022 total 28 boys and 5 girls have received Rajyapal Award for Scout & Guide.

They are Md. Ali Pathan, Manmath Sinha, Parth Joshi, Ahmed Ali Pathan, Avtans Sharma, Hitarth Kaintura, Dev Parmar, Bhavin Samani, Divya Dave, Shashank sarode, Abhinav Biju, Ram Modhvadia, Bhagya Zinzuvadia, Ayush Gandhi, Jainish Somani, Jill Dudharejia, Ronak Sutariya, Suryadeep Sinh Vadher, Parin zala, Shorya Jain, Sambhram Bera, Dvij Patil, Jyot Bhut, Om Naik, Bhaumik Chauhan, Bhavya Bhatt, Dishant Nayani, Shreyansh Pandey, Askhaben Dave, Moksha Valand, Ayushi Seth, Erica Mascarenhas, and Prajakta Kakade.

In regular basis movement organises yearly camps, hiking, First-aid training, ship visit, tree plantation, sea beach cleaning campaigns etc.
